The Brighter Futures Project has been set up in conjunction with Lewisham Homes, Anti-Social Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT) and Youth Services to employ local young people known to the Riverside Youth Club in Deptford to work with Lewisham Homes Caretakers doing small projects around the Pepys Estate to help create a better environment. The young people will work on Saturday mornings and will be given a £15 gift voucher for each session they attend. An initial pilot project will run for six weeks and the young people and caretakers will work with an aerosol artist to decorate a ball court on the estate.
Brighter Futures is being launched on Saturday 1st March 2008 at the Riverside Youth Club. Why not come along and support your colleagues and the young people involved in setting up this exciting project!
