Certain BEKO frost free fridge freezers may pose a fire hazard. The faulty refrigerator models have been found to be responsible for up to twenty fires in London since 2008, including a recent fire in a Bermondsey tower block.
How to check your refrigerator
The recall particular models of BEKO fridge freezer manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006. A full list of affected serial numbers is available here.

If you do have an affected model, or if you have any further questions, please contact BEKO by calling their free phone number on 0800 009 4837 between 8 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday.
If your model of refrigerator is affected, BEKO will arrange to visit your home and modify the fault.
