The Make a Wish event was held on Saturday 15 August to ask residents what their wishes were for the first Lewisham Homes Residents' Business Plan 2010/11. 62 residents attended, 40 of whom had never been involved before.
The event was partly funded by Lewisham Tenants Fund and facilitated by Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) and Alison Cross-Jones, a resident from Westlea Housing. Lewisham Homes service area managers were on hand to assist facilitators and residents.
52 people completed evaluation forms, of these 52:
- 92% found the overall event good or very good.
- 59% found it useful, 53% interesting and 50% enjoyable.
- 83% want to attend future events.

A group of 30 residents will be working with senior managers on developing the priorities that came out of the day. All residents will receive the Residents' Business Plan priorities by way of the rent statement and leasehold newsletter mail outs in late September. The plan is due to be completed early 2010.
