Our Welfare Benefits Adviser can help you are claim all the benefits and support you are entitled to – including disability living, carer’s and winter fuel allowances – and help you complete application forms. Remember, the sooner you claim the better, not all benefits can be backdated.
We work with Lewisham Plus Credit Union to support tenants to keep up with weekly rent payments. More than 800 Lewisham Homes residents are members with about 80 receiving help to deal with their rent arrears. The Credit Union is running surgeries in our offices.
We run free training courses in budgeting and money advice to support unemployed tenants in getting back to work. If you would like to know more about any of the projects listed, contact us!
