Inspecting our estates

These are carried out by our staff and our residents and to check the standard of cleanliness. Since we began our quality reports 87% of estates have passed the test.

Any corrective work that needs to be carried out following inspections has a set time for completion. This is part of our customer service standards.

Dacres Tenant and Resident Association Chair Debbie Lester attended an estate inspection at Westbourne Drive along with two other tenants and staff.

Debbie said:

“We can all sit at home as tenants and criticise but when you look at how much work has to be done, it covers everything from the floor to the ceiling, graffiti, rubbish on the floor, painting stairwells, dust.

"If residents feel their estate isn’t up to standard they should attend an estate inspection and even branch out onto another estate to compare.”
