Winter heating
Mayor Steve Bullock has written to all Lewisham residents about heating bills and the recent cold weather.

In his letter the Mayor encourages people to make use of all the help that is available.
This includes:
- the winter fuel payment for the over 60s
- funding to improve the energy efficiency of your home
- help for people having trouble paying their energy bills and
- practical steps we can all take to avoid wasting energy.
If you are worried about heating your home, or if you have friends and family in the borough with similar concerns, get in touch with the Council on 020 8314 6339. They will help you find out if you are eligible for energy efficiency grants, give you practical information that will reduce your energy use and help you get specialist advice with your fuel bills.
