Our annual event took place in Ladywell Fields, Catford, and it was a great opportunity for residents to meet staff face-to-face.
As well as face painting and a bouncy castle to entertain young residents, there was a range of entertainment, that tied in with the days multicultural theme. The performances included Vietnamese lion dancing, African storytelling and Tamil dancing.
Millwall football club was also on hand to put youngsters through their paces with their fun and energetic training sessions.
Local organisations also attended the event to provide advice, such as Lewisham Plus Credit Union, the Safer Neighbourhoods Team and London Fire Brigade.
Local resident and Chair of Lewisham Homes Board, Julia Cotton said: “What a fantastic day! It was really nice to see the community come together to enjoy the sunshine and find out more about the organisation who manage their homes. Children were having so much fun while their parents and guardians found out more about Lewisham Homes and the partners we work with.”
