Leaseholder and looking to rent your home?
Leaseholder and looking to rent your home?
Lewisham Council is holding a special event for private leasehold landlords who own an ex-council property originally owned by the Council, who now rent it out privately
Published On: 16/11/2011
The purpose of the event is to help private leasehold landlords find out what is involved in renting out their property - the Do's and Don't of running a successful renting business.
There will be a number of speakers who will be looking at:
- how to maximise rental income through the Council’s Lettings Scheme
- the Localism Bill and what it means for leasehold landlords
- leaseholder obligations and responsibilities
The event takes place on
Date: 23 November 2011,
Time: 5pm and 8pm
Venue: Civic Suite, Catford Road, London, SE6
There will also be a marketplace with representatives from Phoenix Community Housing, Southern Landlords Association, the Council’s private sector and rent incentive teams, Lewisham Homes’ leaseholders team, landlord insurance and energy saving experts. The marketplace will provide opportunities to get expert advice and network with other landlords.
