Reading Group consults residents

The aim of the group is to give residents the opportunity to comment on our written material so that we can improve the quality of our information.

The Reading Group meets every six months but members will be sent material to comment on every two months. The first set of material that the group is commenting on is: our new rent leaflet, our self-help debt pack and our former tenant arrears leaflet.

Members will also be able to influence the look and feel of the documents and put recommendations forward for how much we should spend on producing the information. For example, we all know that it costs money to print a leaflet but if this information is vital to our residents then perhaps that cost is acceptable.

We aim to provide information to our residents in all different formats because we know that everyone is different and prefers to receive information in different ways - from receiving a personalised letter to finding out online.
