Warmer, greener homes
Nearly 2,000 social housing properties in Lewisham are now getting energy-saving cavity wall insulation.

This follows a successful funding bid for just over £800,000, by Lewisham Council in partnership with Lewisham Homes.
The funding comes from the Homes and Communities Agency’s Social Housing Energy Savings Programme. Annual savings per household are estimated to be around £87.50 a year. The new insulation will help the Council to deliver its promise to reduce carbon emissions by achieving an estimated reduction of 58,267 tonnes of carbon.
