This means making sure our services reach and benefit our residents, particularly those most in need. It also means providing services that are fair, equal and accessible to all.
To do this, we will make sure our policies and practices do not discriminate in any way and encourage people to access our services.
As part of this process, we are reviewing our equality and diversity strategy and wish to consult with residents. To make sure we effectively consult, we will be holding a meeting for residents at 7.00pm on Thursday 25 February 2010 in room 1 of the Civic Suite, Lewisham Town Hall, Catford Road, SE6 4RU.
Following this, we will be holding regular meetings with residents to monitor actions within the equality and diversity strategy and other related issues that are of concern to you.
