You wanted to be able to pay your annual services charges by Direct Debit. We are pleased that we can now offer leaseholders this option. If you decide to pay by Direct Debit:
- You will be able to pay your 2010/11 annual service charges over 11 months.
- The first payment must be received in May 2010.
- The payment will leave your bank account on the fifth of each month.
- The monthly amount will include the outstanding balance on your annual service charge account (either a credit or an arrear) at 31 March 2010 plus the annual service charge divided in up to 11 months as agreed with you.
To set up a Direct Debit, lease complete the payment options form enclosed and the Direct Debit mandate and return them both to us in the freepost envelope provided.
If you currently pay your annual service charges by Bank Standing Order and wish to change to Direct Debit please ensure you cancel this with your bank. There is a section on the Direct Debit mandate for you to complete.
The Direct Debit will not include any amount that you owe for major works or other charges in connection with your lease. To set up a Direct Debit for these charges please contact your Leasehold Billing and Recovery Officer.

The Leasehold team is investigating the possibility of posting more information online. Residents will be able to access their service charge bills online from December 2009.
