Ensure events and key information are promoted in a range of media, not just magazine.
We did:
Our information is available in a range of ways, on our website, mySpace, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. We also run poster campaigns on estates across 50 noticeboards. If you would like a noticeboard on your estate, contact Community Involvement team 020 8613 7660 or email getinvolved@lewishamhomes.org.uk.

You found it difficult to navigate the magazine because articles were not always in the same structure.
We did:
We revised the current magazine design to incorporate a more consistent template, with cleaner page layouts and clear navigation. We also developed the contents page further as a better navigation tool with our six top stories featured with pictures. We also developed a style guide to cover use of contact details and plain language.

You preferred lower cost paper rather than recycled, and that it is posted in an envelope rather than polywrap. You wanted Home to be posted out to ensure delivery.
We did:
We have obtained quotes from six print suppliers to ensure value for money and quality of service. We use low cost paper to print, and post in envelopes. We consider it value for money to split the distribution by using a post and a hand delivery service for estates. We will post with quarterly rent statements where possible. We also promote the magazine via posters to ensure delivery, and give the regular option of email opt-out to further reduce costs of post.

You wanted to see residents involved in the production of the magazine.
We did:
We introduced a Your Voice forum as a regular feature. We launched a residents reading group which has the opportunity to read over our publicity material and give feedback.
