Our Executive Management team is made up of the Chief Executive, Director of Resources, Director of Property Services, Director of Housing, and Director of Corporate Services.
Our Chief Executive reports to the Lewisham Homes Board. The Board sets our strategic direction and uses relevant expertise to assist in guidance and decision making. The Board take a close interest in performance, finance and service improvement data.

Adam Barrett – Director of Resources
Supports the development of our business plan, provides financial management support, as well as effective performance monitoring to managers across the business enabling us to improve services and deliver value for money.
Provides up-to-date and effective ICT support to our business. This includes maintaining our core business systems, ICT network and telephony services as well as developing systems that enable us to work more effectively and deliver better services.
Provides advice and support on good contract management to deliver value for money through service improvements and cost savings.
Hilary Barber – Director of Corporate Services
Human Resources and Organisational Development
Supports and advises managers on employee relations as well as dealing with recruitment, payroll and changes to terms and conditions. Leads on staff development and ensuring we have the right skills in the organisation to deliver excellent services.
Communications and Community
Delivers a programme of engagement and information campaigns, supporting residents to influence housing services and access local opportunities. Builds networks and partnerships which support positive community development.
Supports the Board and senior managers to make decisions and govern Lewisham Homes effectively, as well as ensure we comply with Company Law.
Health and Safety
Leads on ensuring compliance with legislation, and minimising safety risks for staff and residents.
Steve Coleman – Director of Development and Investment
Delivers long-term investment programmes to improve and maintain existing residents’ homes, including major works and strategic planning to improve estates and neighbourhoods.
New Build Development
Builds the majority of Lewisham Council’s first social housing in 30 years. Oversees projects under the New Homes Better Places programme.
Mechanical and Electrical Services
Maintains lifts and oversees gas servicing for all tenanted properties. Manages contracts including mobile phone and CCTV installations.
Jon Kanareck – Director of Operations
Works with Lewisham Council to let homes to new tenants, advises on change to tenancies and housing transfers. Enforces Tenancy Agreements and tackles anti-social behaviour.
Customer Services, Income and Welfare Benefits
Provides reception services and integrated call centre to residents. Collects rent and provides advice to residents on benefits and financial management.
Manages caretakers and gardeners who look after communal areas and green spaces across our estates. Removes bulk refuse and sweeps our estates.
Manages our in-house repairs service and the repairs call centre, as well as the installation of new kitchens and bathrooms.
Home Ownership and Independent Living
Provides services to 5,000 leaseholders including consultation for major works, collecting service charges, and processing Right to Buy applications. The independent living team provide services to residents in our sheltered accommodation.
