Cash for the Community to improve health and happiness in Evelyn (Deptford)

ALL YOU NEED IS AN IDEA.
You don’t have to belong to an existing group, but you can work with members of the community in your area. If you live or work with people in Evelyn (Deptford), you can bid for money to pay for a scheme that will help to improve people’s health.

You can get up to £5,000 for activities that could: 

• Encourage people to improve their diet and nutrition
• Encourage people to exercise more
• Improve mental health and well-being
• Smoking cessation

HOW DOES IT WORK?

At a special community day in December, those who’ve applied for funding will have the opportunity to explain their projects to the local community. People can then vote on ideas which best meet community need. Projects with the most votes will receive funding. Because funds are limited, not all ideas will receive U decide money. But we will help those that don’t to see whether they can get funding from someone else.
