Improving the Service

Lewisham Homes aims to provide high quality services - but sometimes things go wrong.  If you are unhappy about any of our services or about service charges, you should tell us by contacting the Home Ownership Unit as soon as possible. This gives us the opportunity to put things right.

If you are still not happy with the service we give, you can make a formal complaint.  We are always trying to improve our services to you.  Your complaints and suggestions will help us to do this.

The Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE)

LEASE is an independent advisory body funded by Central Government. It can give free advice on the law affecting residential leasehold properties.

Leaseholder dispute resolution scheme

The scheme is an alternative to legal action or the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal and involves using an independent specialist.

However, before a disagreement between you and us can go for dispute resolution, we must both agree to keep to the arbitrator’s decision. There is a fee payable by both parties when an application is made for arbitration.

Leasehold valuation tribunal

Leaseholders are also able to exercise their rights to dispute a service charge through the Leasehold valuation tribunal.
