Did you know that the Council has negotiated a special scheme with Norwich Union to make it easy for you to protect your belongings against theft, fire, vandalism and water damages?

Under this scheme, premiums are collected on a weekly basis and can be paid with your rent. Weekly premiums start as low as 92 pence per week for £6,000 of cover. Home contents are covered on a ‘new for old’ basis.

How do I apply?

You can apply for Home Contents insurance by visiting your nearest Housing Office and completing a ‘Tenants Home Contents Insurance Application Form’.
