If you have unwanted furniture that can be re-used, there are charitable organisations in the local area to whom you can donate it.
Deptford Action Group for the Elderly (DAGE) helps pensioners combat social isolation, get help and advice and provides a meeting place for social activities.
The DAGE charity shops sell furniture, clothing, records, videos and other items to help raise funds for the pensioners' pop-in and informaiton centre. They will arrange collection of large items that are of saleable quality.
DAGE also undertake furntiture removals for all age groups and free estimates.
