Drugs

The Community Drug Education Project has been commissioned by Lewisham Homes and The Anti Social Behaviour Action Team (ASBAT) to carry out a years work on Honor Oak and Pepys. They are holding drop in session at Pepys every Monday morning between 10- 12 to raise awareness. This is to start at Honor Oak as of Monday 21.01.08. We are looking at this being extended to the Evelyn area as well.

C.D.E.P will be arranging training session for all staff at Pepys and the Caretakers as well to give them a basic awareness. In addition plans are in place for any youths identified as taking drugs or smoking cannabis in the blocks to be invited with their parents consent to attend a training session with a worker from the CDEP and Tenancy Plus Officer to give them a better understanding of how drugs have an impact on them selves and the community.
