By recycling the majority of your domestic rubbish you will be conserving natural resources, reducing energy consumption, protecting the environment and creating jobs. Paper, cardboard, glass, plastic bottles and tins can be placed in your green box, green wheelie bin, or communal recycling bin. Pest control is provided by Lewisham Council. Lewisham Homes have an agreement with the Council to carry out pest control where a number of properties in a block or whole block are affected. Residents who have pest control issues within their individual property need to contact Lewisham Council Environmental Services. Residents will not be charged for the treatment of rats, however there will be a charge for all other pest control treatments. A discount is available for residents who receive a state pension or full benefit.
Bulk refuse, such as fridges, can be collected by Lewisham Council Environmental Services. Residents will be charged for collection service.
You can report fly-tipping to Lewisham Council Environmental Services. Anyone caught fly-tipping will be prosecuted. Read here for more information.
The graffiti team will remove all external graffiti within four days of it being reported, and within 24 hours if it is offensive.
