Q:How often does my caretaker clean my block?
A: Your caretaker visits your block daily to clean the lifts (if there is one) and lobby areas. The stairwells and walkways are checked for any spillages and hazards. Any bulk refuse will be moved to a designated collection point for the lumber team to collect. Chutes are checked for blockages and bins are rotated.
Once a week your caretaker will sweep and mop the following areas: stairways, landings, corridors, ledges, railings, walls, communal glass areas and pathways. Your caretaker will also clean the walls and glass areas (within reach) as well as dusting any ledges and railings. Any items of litter will be removed. There should be a cleaning schedule in the entrance of your block listing the day that it is scheduled to be cleaned. If there are any spillages or hazards in your block, please contact the Caretaking team on freephone 0800 028 2 028 - press 3 (020 8613 4000 may be cheaper from a mobile).
