Residents' Business Plan FAQ

We've put together a few of our most frequently asked questions to help people understand the Residents' Business Plan (RBP). Hope this helps!

Q. What is the Residents' Business Plan?

The Residents' Business Plan is part of our organisational Business Plan which helps Lewisham Homes to plan their priorities over a specific time period, for example over one year. The 'resident' part means that the tasks have been highlighted by residents so your priorities go straight into the Plan that directs what Lewisham Homes will be focussing on over the next year.

Q. How can I check on progress on the priorities for the RBP?

We will be publishing progress updates either in Home magazine or on our website through the course of the year.

We will also publish news about the Residents' Business Plan on our website. If you would like to speak to someone about a particular part of the RBP please contact the Community Involvement team on 020 8613 7660 or getinvolved@lewishamhomes.org.uk

Q. When does the current Residents Business Plan start and finish?

The Plan starts and finishes at the same time as our current financial year which runs from the beginning of April through till the end of March.

Q. How are residents consulted on the Resident's Business Plan?

Residents are consulted through a launch event which is held in the summer. Many residents - both tenants and leaseholders, attend the event and give their views on the priorities for residents.

We also update residents on the priorities that come out of the launch event through Home magazine. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the priorities that they think should be included in the Residents' Business Plan.

This project is resident-led with a core group of residents seeing it through from start to finish with support from Lewisham Homes' staff.
