Lewisham Homes and Lewisham Council support Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs) where there is interest from tenants and residents.

Some of the involvement opportunities described in pages above are classed as regular forums, where members meet periodically to share ideas and can give recommendations that contribute towards decisions made to improve the service.

Resident Scrutiny Committee
Resident Scrutiny Committee
A new involvement opportunity for Lewisham Homes where residents look at services in greater detail and make recommendations for improvement.
 
Tenant and Residents' Associations (TRAs)
Tenant and Residents' Associations (TRAs)
TRAs are voluntary groups made up of people who live in a particular Lewisham Homes area or scheme. They are structured to facilitate tenant and leaseholder involvement and community improvement. Each TRA can receive funding through Lewisham Tenants’ Fund for day-to-day running, events and computer equipment.
 
Training opportunities
Training opportunities
In partnership with Lewisham Tenants Fund and other stakeholders, we offer a range of training opportunities to help residents improve their IT skills and how they work within their communities. We also offer support to help residents find work and manage their finances.
