Would you like to be a movie star?

Lewisham Homes is producing a DVD – and you could star in it. The DVD will be given to new tenants to welcome them to Lewisham Homes. It will include all the information tenants need to get their tenancy off to a good start such as how to pay rent, how to log repairs and how we tackle antisocial behaviour.

The DVD will be produced by a company called Silverfish, who were selected after they competed against four other companies to work with us. Residents were involved in the selection process, and we now want to involve even more of you in the production of the film. 

We need people to get involved in scriptwriting, help us decide what should be in the DVD, and star in the DVD. There will also be a chance for young residents to visit the Silverfish studios to learn how to edit films. Calling all budding reporters!

Do you have an interest in writing and also in what is going on in your community? We need you!

We are looking for regular writers for our website www.lewishamhomes.org.uk to report on what is happening in your local community. You could write about activities taking place in your community centre, any groups that meet regularly such as parent and child groups, coffee mornings for the elderly, Tenant and Resident Associations, after school clubs and gardening clubs, any sports activities, theatre shows or about any other activity that you think might be of interest to other Lewisham Homes residents.

If this sounds right up your street we would love to hear from you. All you need to do is write one article about a particular activity that is happening in your area and submit it to the Community Involvement Team at:
