External Subcontractor Standards Consultation

As you may be aware, Lewisham Homes became responsible for the repair and maintenance of all its properties with effect from 1st November 2008. As a result, we now manage both the internal direct workforce and external contractors responsible for such work.

Tell us about your experiences with external contractors by joining the discussion board or sending us your comments. Read here for more information.
 

Calling all budding reporters!

Do you have an interest in writing and also in what is going on in your community? We need you!

We are looking for regular writers for our website www.lewishamhomes.org.uk to report on what is happening in your local community. You could write about activities taking place in your community centre, any groups that meet regularly such as parent and child groups, coffee mornings for the elderly, Tenant and Resident Associations, after school clubs and gardening clubs, any sports activities, theatre shows or about any other activity that you think might be of interest to other Lewisham Homes residents.

If this sounds right up your street we would love to hear from you. All you need to do is write one article about a particular activity that is happening in your area and submit it to the Community Involvement Team at:

Local assembly meetings in January and March 2009

Now in their second year, local assemblies are enabling Lewisham residents to work alongside the Council and other local organisations to improve the character of neighbourhoods throughout the borough.

Everyone who lives, works or has an interest in their area is invited along to discuss any matter they consider important.

Each local assembly helps decide how to spend both an annual £10,000 “locality fund” and, over the next two years, a £50,000 “Mayor’s Fund” to make significant improvements to the ward.
