Who do I contact about the works to my property?
Our contractors employ specialist Resident Liaison Officers. Their role is to support residents throughout the whole Major Works process by arranging appointments, dealing with access and contractor issues and investigating low level complaints. Whether you live in the North or the South of the borough, your Resident Liaison Officer will be able to answer your query.
When will I get Decent Homes improvements?
Lewisham Homes received a funding allocation of £94 million with
£25.5 million confirmed for the first two years. This is below our original bid and as a result we have revised the programme to take account of this. You can look at our revised programme on our website
Who do I complain to?
We try to get things right first time but we understand that sometimes this does not happen. Improvement works to homes can be a stressful time and there may be times when you feel the need to highlight issues that are causing concern.
Complaints about Major Works are dealt with in the following way
1. Residents who would like to make a complaint should do so first to their Resident Liaison Officer (RLO). The RLO will investigate the complaint in partnership with the project co-ordinator and provide a response.
2. If you are unsatisfied after the above process, please contact Customer Relations Team. Your complaint will then be logged and investigated according to Lewisham Homes procedure.
I would like more information about why we may not be receiving certain work
Each property within the Major Works program will be subject to up to 3 surveys. The surveys will examine the condition of the residents kitchen, bathroom, electrical systems and communal areas. The outcome of these surveys will determine what work is required to a property and if any required at all. All residents will be written to telling them what works they can expect to receive.
