Our future Major Works programme
You'll find information on your homes place in the programme and when you may receive works.
Lewisham Homes received a provisional allocation of £94.5 million which falls short of our original bid for £126 million. We have been guaranteed £25.5 million for the first two years of the programme and we are currently working in the Evelyn Estate and in Lower Sydenham. The programme will move into the Pepys Estate, Wells Park Road and the Hillcrest Estate in 2012/2013.
Lewisham Homes has an outline programme of major works for the period up to 2016/17 although the final programme will depend upon the amount of funding that is available during that period.
Every property in the programme will be subject to survey. This will determine what works, if any will be carried out to to your home. This will typically include:
Internal Work (Rented Dwellings Only)
Kitchen refurbishment
Bathroom refurbishment
Electrical upgrade or rewiring
Heating upgrade
Thermal insulation
New dwelling entrance door
External Work
Roof coverings - repair or renewal
Windows - repair or renewal
Communal doors - repair or renewal
Brickwork/concrete repairs
External redecoration
Communal area redecoration and renewal of floor coverings
Major Works programme 2012 to 2017We have divided the programme into two specific areas, north and south. The north includes, Deptford, New Cross and Honor Oak. The south includes Blackheath, Lewisham, Catford, Forest Hill and Sydenham.
