Green Scene are recruiting for the National Practical certificate in Groundsmanship (Level 1) - please see attached poster. The course will be of interest and use to someone looking for a job in Grounds maintenance ( eg Glendales) or a landscape gardening company. The course will be run by Enviroworks and is open to all local residents.

To reduce the chance of having a fire in your home, you need to be aware of the risks that lead to domestic fires, how to prevent them and what to do should a fire occur. The Government have online self-assessment form that will take you through the various high-risk areas and build a specific fire safety plan for your home. Take the survey here

Established in 1989, AIMS combines its knowledge of this specialised housing sector with expertise in dispute resolution, as well as Age Concern’s experience in working with and for older people.

Kender Office Closure

We recently consulted residents about the closure of Kender Housing Office. The closure of this office has now been agreed by Mayor and Cabinet and as a result Kender Housing Office will close permanently on Friday 4 July.
