Evelyn and Heathside Housing Offices closed

Lewisham Homes consulted residents about the office consolidation proposal in July this year. The majority of residents agreed with the proposal which was presented to Mayor and Cabinet on the 14th of November who also agreed the recommendations.   As a result Evelyn and Heathside Housing Office closed permanently on the 21st December 2007.

Evelyn residents

Your new local housing office will be the newly refurbished Pepys Housing Office, 1a Eddystone Tower, Oxestalls Road, Deptford SE8 3QU. Pepys is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm except for Wednesday when it opens at 10am.

We will be holding the following surgeries

• 2pm-4pm every Tuesday from 8th January 2008 at the Giffin Street Access Point:  5 Giffin Street, Deptford, SE8 4RJ
• 10.00am -12.00pm every Wednesday from 9th January 2008 at the Evelyn Community Centre:  Kingfisher Square Deptford SE8 5TW

Heathside residents

Your new local housing office will be the newly refurbished Holbeach Housing Office, 9 Holbeach Road, Catford, London SE6 4TW. Pepys is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm except for Wednesday when it opens at 10am.

Lewisham Council Officers working on the re-development of the estates are currently working towards keeping the Heathside office open for regular times during the week. This would be to act as a base for the decant officers when the re-development process starts and provide a place for Family Mosaic and Lewisham Homes to offer surgeries to Heathside and Lethbridge residents.

Lewisham Homes will be holding the following surgeries

• 9:30 am -11:30am every Tuesday from 15th January 2008 at Heathside Office, 1 Vardon House, Sparta Street, London SE10 8DT
• 2pm -4pm evey Thursday from 17th January at Heathside Office, 1 Vardon House, Sparta Street, London SE10 8DT
