Lewisham Homes annual Open Day attracted more than 1000 tenants and leaseholders to the Ladywell Fields event on Saturday 13 September.
The day featured a ceremony where £500,000 was presented to fund 24 estate projects as judged by residents in the Resident Led Programme. The Resident Led Programme gave Tenants and Residents Associations, individuals and community groups the opportunity to ‘apply’ for a slice of £500,000 to make their estates better, safer places to live.
The event also features a range of activities and entertainment themed to promote healthy mind, body, home and community. There was popular football and dance workshops for youngsters, as well as money advice and basic repairs, drama and line dancing; and lots of information about Lewisham Homes services.
The annual Open Day event is designed to bring Lewisham Homes tenants and leaseholders together for a fun day out and for us to give you information about Lewisham Homes services and our plans to improve your homes.
