London Borough of Lewisham - Dog Control Orders

Lewisham Council wish to consult with residents over dog control orders.

There is changing legalisation for dog issues, under section 55 of the CNEA 2005 this act provides for 5 offences: Dog fouling, Dogs on lead, Dog exclusion, No. of dogs that a person may bring onto public land and the requirement to put a dog on a lead at the direction of an authorised officer. The Dog control orders will replace previous Byelaws for the control of dogs.
