Pest Control

Lewisham Council provide a comprehensive and confidential pest control service to all residents, local businesses, Housing Organisations and Council departments.

It offers control or advice for a large number of pest species including rodents, most insects, birds and squirrels. As of 1 April 2008 all treatments apart from rats are chargable, however they will offer a concession to residents in receipt of a state pension or full benefit.

The Pest Control Team aims to make sure that all requests for the service are dealt with efficiently, safely and on a cost-effective basis, with due regard to the environment. Officers are fully qualified, use discreet council vehicles and carry identification at all times.

• Mice - £75 for up to three visits. Concessions £35
• Cockroaches - £100 for three visits. Concessions £50

• Fleas - £50 single treatment. Concessions £25 (one free retreat if required)
• Tropical ants - £100 for three visits/ Concessions £50
• Wasps / Bees - £50 guaranteed treatment. Concessions £25 (wasps only)
• Garden ants - £50 single treatment. Concessions £25
• Beetles - £50 Single treatment/ Concessions £25
• Moths - £60 single treatment. Concessions £30
