Public access and participation

Lewisham Homes has a policy on public access and participation at its Board meetings:

• Board meetings are open to the public. 
• The Board has adopted a policy on exempt information in relation to confidential items meaning some items will not be discussed in public. 
• Meetings are publicised through the organisation's website, by posters in housing offices and in resident newsletters. 
• The agenda and non-exempt reports will usually be available at least seven days in advance of the meeting. They will be posted on the organisation's website.

 

Questions to the board are accepted in writing from members of the public if received seven days in advance of the meeting. Anonymous question will not be accepted.

• The chair will read out a response to a question at the Board meeting. The response will be recorded in the minutes. 
• Where a response is not possible at the meeting, a written response to the question will be made to the member of the public within 10 working days thereafter.
