Secure tenancy

Most of our tenants are a secure tenant of Lewisham Council. This is a long term tenancy which offers excellent security of tenure. 

A secure tenancy gives you increased rights which include; 

• The right to buy
• The right to repair
• The right to manage
• The right to succession
• The right to assign

With these excellent conditions comes a level of responsibility. You need to pay your rent on time and behave in a reasonable manner towards your property and your neighbours.

If you breach any of the terms of your tenancy agreement Lewisham Homes will take action against you which may result in you losing your home.
