How can Lewisham Homes help me?

Having difficulties paying your rent? We may be able to help.

We will do all we can to help you work towards reducing your rent arrears. If your overdue rent continues to increase, you may not be eligible for rehousing. Lewisham Homes will take court action to recover the money owed and you could lose your home. Avoid putting your home at risk. We can:

  • Give advice about claiming all the benefits you are entitled to and help to complete an application form. Phone us today to make an appointment with our Welfare Benefits Advisor, Kriss Graham 020 8613 7571
  • Help to prepare a budget.
  • Negotiate a payment plan to pay rent arrears. Contact your income officer today 0800 028 2 028 press 2
  • Make referrals to other agencies who may be able to give further support.

You may also find the Self Help Debt Pack and the Your Little Book of Money Advice leaflets useful, you can download these from our leaflet rack.
