What are former tenant arrears?

FTAs are Former Tenancy Arrears. These arrears are money that a tenant still owes Lewisham Homes after they have moved out of their property.
If you are no longer a Lewisham Homes’ tenant and have left one of our properties owing rent, the money you owe is called ‘former tenancy arrears’.
If you have former tenant arrears, our Debt Recovery team will contact you to arrange for you to pay the debt.
