How do I pay my rent?
There are a range of ways you can pay you rent. If you are struggling to pay, make sure you tell us as a we may be able to help.
Your rent is calculated weekly and is due every Monday. We may allow you to pay your rent fortnightly or monthly, but it must be paid in advance.
You will receive a rent account statement every three months. The statement will show your weekly rent, the amount paid to the Council and your balance.
Ways to pay your rent
 | Over the phone Lewisham Homes has a freephone number 0800 028 2 028 for all housing enquiries. To pay your rent or speak to someone about your rent, you can phone the freephone number and Press 2. It may be cheaper to call our landline number 020 8613 4000 from a mobile. We also have a 24 hour automated service 020 8690 8707. |
 | Email rent@lewishamhomes.org.uk, please include your name and how we can contact you. Please note that we will need to contact you to verify your identity before we can process a payment. |
 | Online Go through to Lewisham Council's secure payments website. |
 | By direct debit Visit you local Housing Office, call our freephone number 0800 028 2 028 or download a direct debit form. - A simple and safe way to pay your rent
- Payments are made direct from your bank account to your rent account
- If your rent changes your direct debit will be changed automatically

 | In person Visit a PayPoint outlet (local stores and garages where you see the PayPoint sign) or any Post Office in the country. You can also pay by credit or debit card at Pepys and Holbeach housing offices. To find your nearest PayPoint enter your postcode into our online search facility. |
 | By bank standing order Visit your local Housing Office, call our freephone number 0800 028 2 028, or download a standing order form. - To set up a standing order take the completed standing order form to your bank. You will need the Council's bank details:
