We have delivered a £156 million investment programme to improve residents’ homes over the past four years, much more than was possible from the £95 million grant that was awarded by the government in 2011.
We have installed new kitchens, bathrooms, electrical rewiring and new doors in thousands of homes. We’ve also improved communal areas and undertaken external decorations at estates across the borough. 94% of homes we manage now meet the Decent Homes Standard and we will complete our programme in 2018.
We will continue a programme of work in residents’ homes and neighbourhoods. This will include window repairs and renewals, roof refurbishments and renewals, structural repairs, drainage and redecoration.
We will also complete work at some sheltered housing schemes and continue our programme to build 320 new homes by the end of 2018.

Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs)
The role of the RLOs is to ensure that our residents are supported throughout works taking place to their home. This includes arranging appointments, dealing with contractor issues, liaising with support services where required and dealing with low level complaints from residents. Your RLO contact details can be found on your block notices and on the contact sheet given to you before works started.
