We are proud to focus on Lewisham and aim to make a real difference to the lives of Lewisham Homes residents and our communities. One of the ways we continue to do this is through launching a new round of the Community Investment Fund.
What is the Community Investment Fund?
The Community Investment Fund will enable resident groups and organisations to bid for funding to spend in their communities.
There are two funds available; a small fund option of £2.5K and a larger fund of between £2.5k and £10k. Residents groups, community organisations and social enterprises can bid for the funding to deliver projects that provide opportunities to Lewisham Homes residents.
What are we looking for?
Following the outbreak of Covid-19, we are looking for projects that support residents remotely.
As part of our vision to create thriving communities and places people are proud to call home, the Community Investment Fund must provide the following:
- Training and employment opportunities for residents
- Activities for young people, to improve life chances and reduce anti-social behaviour
- Digital support to improve skills and assist with employment and benefit claims
- Improved health and wellbeing of our residents
Please note projects must be due to start by 31 March 2021.
How will it be assessed?
A panel consisting of an independent chair, local residents and Lewisham Homes staff will assess the applications.
Who can apply?
Anyone with a project or initiative that will support Lewisham Homes residents during the coronavirus outbreak.
You can find more information on the application site.
Applications close midnight 29 November.
