Last week, we successfully secured a £5,000 grant from the Greater London Authority’s community-led recovery programme created to involve London’s diverse communities in the city’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. The programme is a way for communities most deeply affected by Covid-19 to collaborate with decision makers to reimagine our city as fairer, greener and more resilient than it was before.
We will be carrying out the work with residents from our BAME community in partnership with Sydenham Gardens over the course of the year and will share updates as we go along.
We continue our work to ensure that our residents are able to benefit from local green spaces, which has proven even more important during the pandemic.
