Have you got an idea that could help shape your community? It could be an event you’ve been thinking about organising or a project that can help bring residents together. The Lewisham Tenants Fund have launched their Good Neighbourhood Small Grants Fund and are asking you to come forward with your ideas.
The Lewisham Tenants Fund supports a wide range of activities across the borough organised by local residents associations and community groups. This year they are looking to support potential projects in areas that do not have a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) and the scheme is open to all Lewisham Homes’ residents to apply.
The Fund awards grants of up to £1,200 to support small scale projects that provide clear benefits for council tenants. Successful project applications should clearly demonstrate how they can bring groups of tenants together, improve their neighbourhood or provide support, such as a local carers group, within their area.
