We’re supporting the latest CrimeStoppers campaign: Hard Calls Save Lives, to help spread awareness and prevent knife crime.
The campaign aims to encourage members of the public to pick up the phone and report any information about knife crime with their anonymity guaranteed. By doing so, you can prevent a vulnerable individual falling victim to knife crime, or prevent a perpetrator carrying out a serious violent assault.
CrimeStoppers has partnered with the advertising agency AMV BBDO, to create both a short film and stories focusing on five mothers Yvonne, Jean, Pastor Lorannie Jones, Lillian and Becky. All of whom have all lost their sons to knife crime.
You can watch the short film below or by visiting www.hardcallssavelives.co.uk.
Please note the films may be upsetting for some viewers.
If you have information about knife crime and want to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers. Their service is available via phone and online 24hours a day, seven days a week. Call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
