We are considering ideas for development on Embleton Road in Lewisham.
The area we are considering is the green space at the back of 93-131 Ermine Road that runs down to Embleton Road.
We have not made a decision about whether any potential homes here would be for social rent or private sale. We want to first understand what local residents want to see in their area.
Our development ideas include improvements for existing residents living in this area.
We would like to:
- improve the existing green space for residents already living in the area
- relocate the bins to one of the garages next to the staircase entrance
We could also:
- improve the security of the existing building by adding security doors to the entrance to the stairs if residents want this
- consider improving the lighting, and decorating existing shared areas
Our development ideas are at a very early stage. Planning permission has not been given for any development in this area.
We are also considering ideas for development nearby on Algernon and Embleton Road.
