Residents’ Charter for Estate Regeneration
Lewisham Council are introducing a Residents’ Charter for Estate Regeneration, which among other commitments introduces ballots on any estate regeneration scheme that includes replacing existing homes. This will mean that future schemes will include these additional measures for any resident whose home is due to be improved by Council led redevelopment. Lewisham Council wants to ensure that Council led development takes place in a sustainable way that delivers much-needed genuinely affordable housing whilst also protecting and benefitting our existing communities. You can find out more about these changes on their website here, or email the Strategic Housing Team at email@example.com for more information.
