Lewisham Homes has undertaken a procurement process for passenger and mobility lifting equipment and the provision of repairs, maintenance and refurbishment of these facilities.
We are pleased to announce the contract award to Lift & Engineering Services Ltd.
Headquartered in the West Midlands, the company is part of the global Thyssenkrupp group.
The implementation of the contract is phased:
- Lift & Engineering Services is taking over the repair and maintenance of communal passenger lift installations from PDERS on 1 August 2022.
- For mobility lifting equipment (which includes items such as hoists, through-floor lifts, platform lifts and stairlifts), the servicing and repair function will remain with Prism Medical for now, with Lift Engineering Services taking over on 1 November 2022.
