At the beginning of 2021, we reduced some of our services due to rising Covid-19 cases across the country. This was to keep contact to a minimum for the safety of our residents and staff, and to ensure that we could continue deliver essential services while we experienced increased staff absences.
Following the latest government advice as Covid-19 infection rates continue to fall, we are able to gradually increase our routine repairs service as well as caretaking and gardening.
We will begin booking appointments for routine repairs from 25 February and caretaking and gardening will return to a full service from 8 March.
We are also planning to resume all elements of our major works programme, which was also partially put on hold earlier this year. Contractors will continue to undertake rigorous risk assessments and follow Covid-secure guidelines.
Our resident reception will remain closed until further notice.
The safety of our staff and residents remains our top priority. Our services may be returning to normal, but we will continue to follow government guidance around distancing, hygiene and Covid safe working practices. We will ensure our operatives and contractors are symptom-free and supplied with the appropriate PPE. We ask that residents remain cautious when our staff are working in or near their homes.
