We have started calling our residents who are over 70 or who we think may have other vulnerabilities, to check in with them and see how they are doing at this difficult time.
As our residents’ health, safety and wellbeing remains our top priority, the purpose of the phone call is to understand if someone requires additional help. We cover:
- Social needs/support
- Ability to access home essentials
- If appropriate isolation/social distancing rules are understood
- What assistance we can provide or signpost to
If you receive a call from us, please use this to share any concerns you have, and we will do our best to assist you and recommend the best services and help available.
We understand that during the Covid-19 pandemic there has been an increase in scam calls, which may make you cautious when we phone you.
Our staff will always start the call by confirming their name and job title, but if you are ever in doubt of a call you receive from Lewisham Homes, you can always end it and call us back on our switchboard to continue the conversation.
