We’re delighted to launch our new equality, diversity and inclusion strategy following consultations with staff and residents.
The strategy keeps individuals with different cultures, perspectives and experiences at the heart of our organisation, which is why it felt appropriate for us to launch the strategy during Black History Month.
The strategy looks at where we are now and the support we offer to our residents, plus the rich and vibrant ethnic diversity of our staff which reflects the communities that we serve in the borough; but also articulates our ambitions for ways we can improve as an organisation. The board and executive team at Lewisham Homes are committed to ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion is in everything we do, and is a continuous thread that runs from our board to our customer-facing employees, our strategy objectives and outcomes.
