How we consult
Lewisham Homes is committed to ensuring residents have a voice in the services we deliver. The annual consultation planner provides details of consultation with residents that is due to take place over the next financial year (April 2022- March 2023), The list will develop and change on a quarterly basis; the next change will be in the summer of 2022.
The community engagement framework provides the different ways we engage and consult to ensure residents can get involved in shaping Lewisham Homes’ services. Any workshops that take place can use a range of engagement methods and will be held both in-person and online, this will be dependent on the scale of consultation and interest in taking part.
We will be clear at the start of the consultation when we will feedback on the results.

Equality and Diversity information may be requested. This will only be to ensure we are consulting a cross-section of residents.
The Environmental services team will be consulting all residents between April-June 2022 (subject to change).
We think there are changes we can make to the caretaking service to ensure residents receive value for money. We want to know what you think is important to consider.
Sustainable green services
The Gardening services team will consult with all residents between April and June 2022 (subject to change).
This will include understanding how we can make the green spaces more sustainable and how we communicate this to residents.
Resident engagement in Building Safety
The Building Safety team will consult with all residents living in blocks under the building safety review (over 11 metres high).
This is to support delivering the strategy for building safety.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Lewisham Homes are building a new customer relationship management system. We want to work with residents to develop and test the system to ensure it meets your needs. The target date for the consultation is between July and September 2022.
Responsive repairs, disrepair and complaints
The Repairs Service team will consult with residents between July and September 2022.
This consultation will ensure that our responsive repairs and disrepair services are built around residents’ needs. We’re also keen to understand how you think we should manage disrepair complaints.
Feedback following one year of major works contract with Mulalley and United Living
The Strategic Asset Management team will consult with residents who have received work through the Major Works team during September 2022.
The new major works contractors will have been in place for a year in September 2022. We want to hear from you about your experiences.
Rent and Service charges
The Finance team will consult with residents between October and December 2022.
In partnership with Lewisham Council, Lewisham Homes will consult residents about any rent changes and service charges.
Reset, Reskill and Rebuild (resident priorities)
The Community Relations will consult with residents in December 2022.
This annual survey enables us to understand resident priorities for community engagement activities, training and employment.
The installation of Wi-Fi in independent living schemes
The Independent Living team will consult with residents living in relevant independent living schemes. A date has not been confirmed. The consultation will be about the pilot only at this stage.
The Compliance team will consult with living close to estates where improvements are planned. A date has not been confirmed.
There is a schedule of play areas that are due to be improved/ renewed. This consultation will take place with residents living close to these play areas.
