Albany activities and tickets

We work in close partnership with the Albany, a leading London arts venue and community hub in Deptford, to bring our residents exciting activities:


Love2Dance is a popular street dance programme for 5-18-year-olds. You can learn award-winning street dance, attend shows and events to get you inspired, and take part in live performances. Dancers can also opt to take a nationally recognised qualification in street dance.

Meet me at the Albany

Meet Me at the Albany is an all-day arts club for the over 60s, offering an all-year round programme of weekly events. Come along for some lunch, meet new friends, and try your hand at a range of creative activities from poetry and photography, to singing and circus.

Albany Young Creatives

Are you aged 16-25, and interested in producing, performing, technical theatre or international exchange? Join the Albany Young Creatives to work with some of the best professionals in the industry and have the opportunity to see your ideas come to life!

Albany Gardening Club

Learn how to grow your own food with the Albany Gardening Club from pumpkins to pea shoots. Nurture your seeds and plants in the Albany polytunnel and soil beds, or take them home to your own garden, balcony or windowsill.

Cookery classes

In partnership with GCDA, we offer free six week cookery courses for Lewisham Homes’ residents in different venues across the borough. You’re invited to come and discover new ways to cook healthy meals, and enjoy the food you’ve made at the end of each session. Lewisham Youth Theatre

Lewisham Youth Theatre (LYT) brings young people together from across the borough to create exciting theatre. Through free activities, from drama workshops to technical theatre training, and much more, LYT aims to increase young participants’ confidence and wellbeing by encouraging and inspiring them to develop their creative talents.

Evelyn Community Store & Pepys Social Supermarket

Based in your local community centre, the  Evelyn Community Store (Evelyn Estate) and the Pepys Social Supermarket (Pepys Estate) offers low cost, healthy groceries on your doorstep.
