On 1 January 2022, Lewisham Council introduced Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) to manage and enforce parking on its housing estates.
This means that Lewisham Homes will no longer issue parking permits to residents, and you must apply via parkingpermits.lewisham.gov.uk.
The introduction of TMOs on housing estates brings arrangements for parking restrictions on housing estate land in alignment with all other parking arrangements in the borough. The Council’s parking enforcement contractor will be responsible for the management and enforcement of the new TMO arrangements.
For the current housing estate parking sites moving to the new TMO arrangements, the cost of permits will remain unchanged in the first year after introduction. Lewisham Council will review the parking charges within the first year following implementation of the new TMO arrangements.
If you already have an annual permit issued by Lewisham Homes, it will remain valid for the duration remaining but when it expires you will need to purchase a new permit using the Council’s online parking permit system parkingpermits.lewisham.gov.uk.
If you have purchased a book of daily permits, they will be valid until they have been used.
If you have any questions about the new parking arrangements, please contact the Lewisham Parking Permits team on 0208 787 5397/option 3, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or writing to:
